Before you book
Do I need the app to book?
The app is where bookings are made and tracked, so it is the most complete way to arrange care. If you would rather speak to someone first, WhatsApp and phone are both open.
How quickly will someone respond?
Enquiries on WhatsApp and by phone are answered during working hours. Bookings placed in the app are handled through the app itself, where you can follow the current stage of the request.
Can I book on behalf of a family member?
Yes. When you get in touch, give the details of the person who will be receiving care rather than your own, so the right notes reach the professional attending.
What should I do in an emergency?
Contact your local emergency number immediately. MedVek can request an ambulance through the app, but in a life-threatening situation you should not wait on an app booking or a message.
